How Does AGRI-TRAC™ Benefit Your Cows?

AGRI-TRAC™ patented Traction Milling process ELIMINATES slips by dispersing manure and moisture out from under a cows hoof so they are always on a dry spot, increasing traction up too 85% on ANY floor. After we grind in our texture heat detection increases due to comfort, as well a milk production increase of up too 3 Liters per cow!

Traditional Diamond Grooving holds 4x more manure than AGRI-TRAC™ does which increases infections and risk of diseases. The amount of manure stored in the grooves can also be incorporated into your manure storage management plan, This because after scraping in a 5ft x 2ft rectangle you still have 6 liters(1.3 gallons) of manure left behind in the grooves.

  • Scarifying

    Scarifying cuts parallel lines approximately 1-2cm apart while leaving the existing surface, resulting in a slippery, abrasive surface but working on similar principles to Grooving. Which is “slip & Catch.” when the cow slips, hopefully, they get caught in a crack, but leaving the initial surface still leaves you with a slippery floor.

  • Grooving

    80% of the jobs we do is OVER TOP of traditional grooving, one-way or two-way. Traditional Grooving works on a “Slip & Catch” principle, and for a 1,500lb animal, “catching” your hooves on sharp edges/points can cause severe infections due to the amount of manure stored in the Grooves.

  • Stamped or Imprinted

    Stamped or Imprinted floors create round pressure points in the cow’s feet, causing discomfort. Pushing the concrete down when wet disperses the concrete elsewhere, bubbling up and creating round bumps which act as a pressure point on the cows hoof’s.

  • AGRI-TRAC’s Five-Step Procedure

    Step 1: Pressure wash the floor so we can give you the best results.

    Step 2: Start our patented Traction Milling process in the requested work area.

    Step 3: Sweep all concrete dust and grindings into piles, shovel into a wheelbarrow, and place grindings into a pothole or low spot.

    Step 4: Pressure wash the floor again to remove any leftover debris.

    Step 5: Measure up the area worked, cut to cut. Then, proceed to give the customer the invoice.

  • The longevity of our product is dependent on a few factors; if you use hydrated lime in your bedding, it will create a new surface on the floor that is slippery, thus leaving a timeline unpredictable. Sand Barns, our product is designed with you in mind, and the sand will roll off our wear bar strips and underneath your scraper/buckets. We are leaving you a grippy floor for 10-15 years. If you don’t use hydrated lime or metal scrapers/buckets, our texture can last you 20+ years.
