We Are Your Livestock Traction Specialist.

Our procedure will include these 4 steps. ALL steps are included into the final price there is no hidden fees. (no set-up fee, drive time fee, etc.)

Step 1. Pressure wash floor with 4000psi until surface is clean as possible (If barn is NEW this step may be unnecessary.)

Step 2. Grind in our Patented AGRI-TRAC Texture into your existing floor new and old.

Step 3. Sweep up all the grindings into a wheelbarrow and put those grinds into a pothole or low spot.

Step 4. Pressure wash the floor again to prevent grinds from sticking back too the floor.

Step 5. lastly we measure from cut too cut to then provide you with a invoice. (NOT curb too curb)

  • Scarifying

Scarifying cuts parallel lines approximately 1-2cm apart while leaving the existing surface, resulting in a slippery, abrasive surface but working on similar principles to Grooving. Which is “slip & Catch.” when the cow slips, hopefully, they get caught in a crack.

  • Grooving

80% of the jobs we do is OVER TOP of traditional grooving, one-way or two-way. Grooving works on a “Slip & Catch” principle, and for a 1,500lb animal, “catching” your hooves on sharp edges/points can cause severe infections due to the amount of manure stored in the Grooves.

  • Stamped or Imprinted

Stamped or Imprinted floors create round pressure points in the cow’s feet, causing discomfort. Pushing the concrete down when wet disperses the concrete elsewhere, bubbling up and creating round bumps.

In this photo, the grey residue is hydrated Lime, used in the bedding to help with environmental mastitis. Unfortunately, once it comes in contact with concrete and moisture, hydrated Lime bonds to the concrete within 24 hours, building up even in your deep grooving. At AGRI-TRAC, we have a product we can use to eliminate the bonding of hydrated Lime, but this process can only be completed on newly built barns or if you are to have cows out and off the floor for 72 hours. Some companies sell hydrated Lime that does not contain a high calcium concentration, so there is minimal bonding. The only way to remove this residue is for us to come and grind through the layer, providing a new Traction-Milled surface!

How clean are your floors? Do your cows have traction? Only AGRI-TRAC Inc. can give you 80% traction on new or existing floors. In this photo, with each step you can see that it is dry underneath, even in 1-2 inches of manure. Eliminating slipping before it occurs providing you and your livestock maximum traction 360 degrees.

AGRI-TRAC™ is a firm believer in bio-security protocol. All our equipment and machines are washed at the time of job completion before loading back into truck. If the situation doesn’t allow that on the farm then equipment and machines are taken too a truck wash and washed before next use. if you have a closed herd or we have done a different animal barn we disinfect all equipment with 1-2% solution of VIRKON once the day before and again the day of to ensure bio-security protocols are met.
